The MD State Community Investment Tax Credit Program is also a great option for businesses and individuals who donate $500 or more to Strength to Love II by allowing you to earn tax credits equal to 50% of your donation! In-kind donations of the following needed items:
- garden hoses
- wheel barrows
- work gloves
- size 32 rubber bands
- digital produce scale
- five gallon buckets (ideally with lids)
- rubber mats for packing house floor
- hand trowels, soil knives (hori-horis) or dibble for hand planting seedlings
- short or long handled hoes
- circular saw
- chainsaw and/or pole saw/tree saw for pruning
- chairs for lunchroom
- small paring/harvest knives
- picnic tables, benches, work tables
- fans
Join us as a volunteer!
Volunteering at the Strength to Love farm is a great way to see how we are serving our community and making a difference. We often use volunteers at our farm that help with everything from planting, weeding, and harvesting, to landscaping, and clean-ups. Volunteer groups commonly include school groups, companies, and individuals. No prior experience needed!
